The Praia do Madeiro is the darling of tourists, mainly foreigners, in its sands you can walk, take a delicious sunbath, practice sports, such as frescobol and football. And the sea? Emerald green, warm and calm waters, suitable for bathing, surfing for beginners, or “catching an alligator”.
Dolphins are a separate surprise and can be seen, especially in the early morning. For these small and, at the same time, great details, the Praia do Madeiro is a must see .
How to get there:
Great for sports with possible presence of the famous dolphins at the time of surfing, stand up paddle, kayak, paddleball and hiking.
Many tents, surf school and a stunning view with an intermediate sea for swimming.
Madeiro Beach has a exuberant nature edged with an immense stretch of coconut palms the beach situated below the Village Natureza hotel (which stands on the cliffs above) is in a calm bay with gentle waves making it ideal for swimming.
If you are lucky you might also see the magnificent natural show the dolphins often give in the mornings. For those who like walking we suggest a stroll along the sand to the next beach (do madeiro [or timber>) which is just as beautiful.
If you are here between November and May you might even come across a turtle nest!
