Although set in the district of Georgino Avelino, Malembá’s visitors stem mostly from Tibau do Sul, Lined with dunes and offering an endless stretch of sand, it is ideal for radical buggy or quadracycle rides.

Access, from the south, by ferry departing from Tibau do Sul or, from the north, via the beach itself, for those coming overland from Natal in buggies or 4-wheel-drive vehicles. Malembá is a popular location for kite surfing, due to its constant winds and the waves of Guaraíras Lagoon. Sand boarding and sand sledding are suggestions for great fun in the dunes.
